I'm a Registered Dental Assistant at Dr. Nappen's office. I have worked with Dr. Nappen since 1997.
So what is it like when you're finally sitting in the chair? First of all you can just sit back and relax! Before your appointment Dr. Nappen reviewed with each staff member the treatment that is planned for your appointment. That way each of us know what to do to get started.
When you are in the chair a Registered Dental Assistant like me will begin working with you to get you ready for Dr. Nappen. We'll then call Dr. Nappen over to evaluate you and make important decisions about the next steps in your treatment.
If you have any questions, just ask me or whoever is working with you. We love explaining what we do and why. More importantly we know orthodontics takes teamwork with you, the patient, as the most important member of the team. The better you understand the process the greater the chance we stay on schedule and obtain an ideal result as we all work together to make your smile dazzling and your bite the greatest.
